I gave Birth at Grace on 22.07.25 very early hours in the morning.
my first birth was at a gouv hospital and was horrible to say the least.
i did alot of research into grace before making my mind up for my 2nd Birth.
I tell you what, it was the best choice my husband and i ever made. They madehim feel so involved.
the staff are some thing else, they go out their way to make you feel like a queen. they respect your wishes and fears.
I met a women by the name of wendy, now this women understood every thing about me and my road i came from, from my first Birth. i cant put into words of how greatful i am to her.
when it came time for my Birth the room was clean and set up down to even the smell i like, i can be a hard person to please some times but they got every thing right.
The rooms are set up for after Birth down to a T. ( how greatful was i to see coffee) HAHAHAH.
As for the cooks - spot on!!!!!!!
Jarrod and i can not thank every single person enough.
ladies......this place is beyond words.
Id 100% choose them again.

I recently gave birth to my first baby at Grace Birthing Hospital, and the entire experience was nothing short of magical. The environment at Grace is warm, calm, and supportive—perfectly designed to make you feel safe and respected during such a significant life event. The labor and delivery rooms were not only well-equipped but also thoughtfully arranged to create a soothing, home-like atmosphere.
From the moment my labor began, the midwife on call was incredibly responsive—checking in on me, guiding me through each stage, and making me feel supported even before I arrived. When I finally came in for an assessment, it turned out I was ready to stay and begin my birthing journey.
From that point on, I was surrounded by an amazing team of doulas and midwives who truly made all the difference. They gave me massages, did exercises with me, and supported me through each contraction with calm, reassuring energy. Being a first-time mom, I honestly didn’t know what to expect—but they knew exactly what I needed, exactly when I needed it, without me even saying a word.
I can confidently say I would not have made it through an unmedicated, natural birth without their incredible guidance, techniques, personalities, and unwavering presence. Everything flowed so smoothly, and they made my dream birth a reality.
Postpartum care was just as wonderful. The nurses were attentive and gentle, helping me with breastfeeding, recovery, and newborn care without ever making me feel rushed or overwhelmed. I always felt like I was in the best hands possible.
I am beyond grateful for the care we received and highly recommend Grace Birthing Hospital to anyone looking for a place where both mother and baby are treated with the highest level of dignity, care, and respect.
Thank you, Grace Birthing Hospital, for making the birth of our baby such a beautiful and unforgettable experience. - Hannah Visagie··from Google
As a midwife myself, I can’t vouch for Grace Birthing Hospital enough!! In a market that is flooded with self centred practitioners who disproportionately inflate labour risks, Grace Birthing Hospital is beacon of hope for patient centric care in South Africa. A place where mom and baby are put first no matter what time of day or night.
We need more of these hospitals across South Africa, changing the landscape of maternity care for better!
