I gave birth to my little one at Grace's and from the beginning the entire staff has been so hands on. The process of getting to know the midwives and really feeling comfortable in the birthing centre was incredible to say the least - from the initial appointment I got really excited for the labour and birth process as they have created a very calm and welcoming environment that feels more like a little holiday away from home rather than a hospital setting.

From my experience, my little one decided to come on her own terms, so even though I didn't get the exact birth that I had initially planned on, I felt that my own safety as well as my little one's were in the right hands as the midwives guided us to what would be the best for us as well as respecting our decisions to the best of their capabilities.

I will forever look back on the birth with extreme gratitude for how everything panned out as our birth story is definitely unique to us and Grace's helped navigate that in the absolute best way possible.

At the end of this entire process I really feel part of the Grace's family and I will definitely be back for baby number 2!

I gave birth at Grace Birthing Centre exactly two weeks ago, and my experience was truly exceptional from start to finish.

I began attending Grace from around eight weeks into my pregnancy, and every single visit left me feeling reassured, cared for, and completely satisfied. The team was consistently thorough and attentive, always prioritising both my wellbeing and that of my baby. Their approach was incredibly hands-on, and what stood out most was their accessibility and compassion—I could reach out at any time and would always receive the kindest, most reassuring responses. It was evident that they genuinely care for their patients.

In the lead-up to my delivery, I visited the centre multiple times during early labour and was sent home on a few occasions as my labour had not yet progressed. Although this was emotionally challenging at the time, I deeply appreciated the waythe team handled it. They never dismissed my concerns—instead, they took the time to explain everything in detail, even using visual aids to show exactly where my baby was positioned and how my body was progressing. Their reassurance gave me confidence and peace of mind, and I always left feeling informed rather than discouraged.

During my labour, I was under the care of Sister Frances, who was nothing short of outstanding. She was gentle, calm, compassionate, and incredibly supportive throughout. Her warmth and kindness made such a difference to my experience, allowing me to feel safe, seen, and truly cared for during such a vulnerable and significant moment. My labour lasted approximately 9–10 hours at the centre, and I was also supported by a birth assistant who stayed with me through most of my contractions, offering continuous encouragement.

The delivery itself, led by Sister Frances, was a beautiful and positive experience, and the care did not end there. The postnatal care I received was equally attentive and thoughtful, ensuring both my baby and I were well looked after. I am incredibly grateful to the entire team at Grace Birthing Centre for their dedication, professionalism, and genuine compassion. They made my birth experience not only comfortable but truly memorable in the best way possible. I would highly recommend them to any expecting mother.
